Senior QC Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Senior Software QC Engineer will be responsible for leading testing efforts and mentoring junior team members. Specific responsibilities include:

• Adhering to and enforcing established company QA processes and procedures.

• Identifying and clarifying any ambiguities or inconsistencies in software specifications.

• Analyzing and reporting defects, proposing solutions and improvement strategies.

• Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, workflows, and frameworks for projects.

• Creating and reviewing testing estimations for projects.

• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior QC engineers on testing methodologies and best practices.

• Designing, writing, executing, and documenting detailed test cases.

• Utilizing the defect tracking system to effectively report, track, and monitor defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Excellent English skills to comprehend technical specifications.

• Strong general IT knowledge.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• In-depth understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

• Experience leading a small QC team (1-2 members).

• Minimum one year of experience in API and performance testing.

• Experience using the JMeter tool.

• Familiarity with automated testing (a plus).

• 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.

 Good plus: Work experience with e-commerce (B2B or B2C), B2B solution, platforms…
